Chief of the Section of Melanoma and Sarcoma Surgery Ashley Holder, M.D., will join Physiological Reviews journal early career editorial board.

Holder brings her expertise in skin and soft tissue neoplasm, melanoma, and soft tissue sarcoma to the journal. She joins nine other experts from around the globe on the early career editorial board.

Physiological Reviews is the most cited physiology journal in the world with a 2020 impact factor of 37.3. The journal provides state of the art coverage of timely issues in the physiological and biomedical sciences.

Holder looks forward to representing UAB on the board.
