William D. Jordan, Jr. M.D., Endowed Professor in Vascular Sciences Bin Ren, M.D., Ph.D., FAHA, was selected to serve on the American Heart Association (AHA) Peer Reviewer Committee of the Transformational Project Award in Vascular Sciences.
The AHA Transformational Project Award is designed to support highly innovative, high-impact projects that build on work in progress that could ultimately lead to critical discoveries or major advancements that will accelerate the field of cardiovascular and/or cerebrovascular research.
Ren is delighted to serve this committee to review innovative cardiovascular research grants. Before joining this committee, he also served on AHA Peer Review Committee of Cardiovascular Development for more than five years. He has been elected as an AHA Fellow in Council on Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology since 2014.
