UAB Division of Breast & Endocrine Surgery Assistant Professor Lily Gutnik, M.D., was recently appointed to serve as an Associate Scientist in the UAB Center for Women’s Reproductive Health (CWRH).

The CWRH’s mission is to conduct research aimed at improving the health and survival of all women and children and to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration between UAB researchers and others while developing scholars interested in women’s and children’s health.

“I am so honored to be appointed to this position,” says Dr. Lily Gutnik. “By improving the health and wellness of women and children, we create positive change that impacts us all.”

Gutnik also serves as an associate scientist for the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB and the Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Center (MHRC).
