UAB AAES Endocrine Surgery Fellow Dr. Jessica Liu McMullin was recently selected to serve as a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Surgical Research (JSR).

McMullin additionally serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the World Journal of Surgery, American Journal of Surgery, and Journal of the American College of Surgeons.

She is a graduate of the Emory University School of Medicine, where she also completed her surgical residency and served as chief resident. Following the completion of her Endocrine Surgery Fellowship at UAB in July 2023, she will be joining the faculty at the University of Utah as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery. 

"I am honored to serve on the editorial board for JSR and look forward to reviewing the phenomenal research manuscripts submitted," says McMullin.

McMullin’s term of service to the editorial board will continue through December 2025.
