UAB Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery Associate Professor and Assistant Program Director of Resident Research for the General Surgery Residency Program Karin Hardiman, M.D., Ph.D., has been selected for induction into the national Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society chapter at UAB.
Each year, the Heersink School of Medicine holds an annual AOA Induction Banquet to congratulate new members. This year’s event was held at B&A Warehouse at Railroad Park on March 16.
“I am honored to join this society and be surrounded by my outstanding peers as we further educational leadership and development in the field of medicine,” says Dr. Hardiman.
