The UAB Department of Surgery welcomes Jarrad Rowse, M.D., as assistant professor in the Division of Vascular Surgery & Endovascular Therapy.
Rowse attended the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, where he completed both his medical degree and general surgery internship. He then completed an internship in integrated vascular surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and subsequently served as a staff surgeon there in the Department of Vascular Surgery for four years.
His areas of interest include open and endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, thoracic outlet syndrome, peripheral artery disease, and limb preservation.
Rowse is board-certified in vascular surgery. Through his new faculty appointment, he will also support the Advanced Limb Preservation Program at UAB's Russell Clinic.
Rowse is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society, Association of Program Directors in Vascular Surgery, and Alpha Omega Alpha.
