The Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery is pleased to announce two faculty members have been named to internal leadership roles.

Assistant Professor Jonathan Black, M.D., FACS, is the new Associate Medical Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).

Assistant Professor Stuart Hurst, M.D., is the new Associate Medical Director of the Trauma Burn Intensive Care Unit (TBICU).

Black and Hurst will operate under the leadership of Rondi Gelbard, M.D., FACS, the Chief of the Critical Care Service and newly named Medical Director of the SICU, TBICU, and PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit).
