Several members of the UAB General Surgery Residency Program were selected to participate in the Learning Community (LC) Housestaff Program.

About the Learning Community Housestaff Program
The UAB Learning Community Housestaff Program is an initiative from the Heersink School of Medicine that engages students in monthly meetings to discuss medical ethics, professionalism, career, and well-being and to provide mentorship opportunities from resident physicians in their areas of interest. The program fosters initiatives to help the community, such as volunteering in the Birmingham area.
