The Department of Surgery and the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) invite proposals for pilot and feasibility research studies that have high potential to generate essential preliminary data to support extramural grant applications. Basic science, translational and clinical research will be considered.
Eligibility
- Applications must include two principal investigators; one from surgery and one from BME.
- Projects must represent new ideas without prior extramural grant support.
- Proposed projects should generate preliminary data for extramural grant applications.
Important Dates
- Application Deadline: Jan. 2, 2017
- Earliest Award Date: April 1, 2017
- Final Report Due: April 30, 2018
