Research Committee of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract has selected Colin Martin, M.D., assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, as this year’s winner of the SSAT Career Development Award for his proposal, “Environmental Programming of IgA Transport in Neonatal Disease.”
TheThe research award is $50,000 per year for two years, for a total of $100,000. As this year’s winner, Martin is invited to attend the SSAT Annual Meeting in Chicago, Ilinois, during Digestive Disease Week.
