Congratulations to Sherry Collawn, M.D., Ph.D., and Timothy King, M.D., Ph.D., who recently received awards for their research projects.

Collawn and King each received a $15,000 research grant from the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons for their projects, “Stromal Cell Interactions with Skin Cancer” and “Development of a 3-D Bioprinter for Tissue Engineering,” respectively. Collawn and King will each receive $7,500 of their awards now and the rest once their interim progress reports are approved by SESPRS. Collawn and King were named the winners of these awards at this year’s SESPRS annual meeting in Sea Island, Georgia.
