Dr. Vanessa DiPasqualeGeneral surgery resident Vanessa DiPasquale, M.D., has received a Looking to the Future Scholarship from The Society of Thoracic Surgeons to attend the STS 54th Annual Meeting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, January 27-31, 2018.

Scholarships include complimentary registration for the meeting, a three-night stay at an STS-designated hotel, participation in exclusive events and reimbursement of up to $500 in related travel expenses.

Since 2006, 430 scholarships have been awarded to underwrite expenses for attendance at the STS Annual Meeting and to provide mentorship to aspiring cardiothoracic surgeons.
