Sixty-seven faculty, residents, medical students and lab members from the Department of Surgery will present their research at the 13th Annual Academic Surgical Congress next week in Jacksonville, Florida.

These presentations will span the duration of the conference, Jan. 30 – Feb. 1. Second-year medical student Jameson Weiner, former mentee of the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery’s Melanie Morris, M.D., will present his award-winning abstract at the clinical/outcomes plenary session on Thursday, Feb. 1.
