Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy Director Adam Beck, M.D., and general surgery research resident Margaux Mustian, M.D., have been selected to join the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. AOA is a professional medical organization that recognizes and advocates for excellence in scholarship and the highest ideals in the profession of medicine.

Election to Alpha Omega Alpha is an honor signifying a lasting commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism, and service. About 3,500 students, alumni, house staff, and faculty are elected each year. Since its founding in 1902, more than 150,000 members have been elected to the society.
