Once a month, the University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of English hosts BookTalk. The informal discussions, led by department faculty, are open to the public and will meet from 6-7 p.m. in the Director’s Conference Room 182 in Mervyn Sterne Library, 917 13th Street South.
Whether you are a UAB student, faculty member, or a member of the Birmingham community, these monthly gatherings offer insightful, and interesting discussions about a on a variety of books. Department of English faculty lead discussion and also select the books that will be featured each month.
