All nurses are invited to take a break and bring their friends and families to Railroad Park for BHAM Nurses Night Out on Friday, May 11. The free event is hosted by the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing, UAB Medicine and Special Care Providers of America.
The purpose of the evening is to celebrate the hard work nurses provide every day.
“Nurses Night Out recognizes nurses from the Birmingham area and the state of Alabama for the health care leadership they provide for patients and families,” said Doreen C. Harper, Ph.D., Dean and Fay B. Ireland Endowed Chair in the UAB School of Nursing. “We are thrilled to be a part of this event again this year with our partner, UAB Medicine, and to show our support for all nurses for their dedication as the front line of the health care workforce.”
The family-friendly event will have live music, food trucks, free massages, giveaways, raffles and plenty of activities for kids.
