Richter's research and clinical practice is focused on urogynecologic disorders, ranging from incontinence to pelvic floor prolapse, and she can speak to all aspects of urogynecologic care.
A past president of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, Richter has been traveling to Africa for more than 10 years to operate on women with vesicovaginal fistulas, and is currently a board member of the Worldwide Fistula Fund.
Richter is also involved in other research initiatives and is the J Marion Sims Endowed Chair and Research Director of the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery.
