Metric: Six-Year Graduation Rate
One of UAB’s primary aims is for students to complete degrees or credentials that prepare them to become informed and productive citizens. Nationally, graduation rate has become a common indicator of student success and institutional accountability. We know that many factors can contribute to the rate at which students graduate. Therefore, UAB works continuously to remove barriers and create opportunities that provide students with support to realize their graduation goals.
Data definition: The percentage of First-time, Full-time, Baccalaureate Degree-seeking Freshmen graduating within 150 percent of the published time for the program, or before the 7th Fall term. Baseline figure represents a three-year historical average from 2015-16 to 2017-18. Source: Institutional Effectiveness and Analysis.
