Metric: Fiscal Year Giving
Philanthropy is part of the foundation for the strategic plan and pairs a donor’s interests with the needs of UAB. It provides resources for UAB to build on its strengths, enhance student success and extend research programs. Fiscal year giving measures progress on gifts received by UAB.
Data definition: The 2018-2019 total below includes donations to the $1 billion Campaign for UAB, which was officially launched in October 2013 and concluded in November 2018. Fiscal year giving in post-campaign years is reflected in the rest of the chart. Overall giving to UAB is calculated as gifts and pledges from any constituent (Alumni, Friends, Corporations, Etc.) for each fiscal year. Source: UAB Advancement.
