The Spencer Honors house, pictured in its early years as the home for the UAB Honors College, is one of the most recognizable buildings on campus, and when its signature stained glass windows were restored to their original beauty this past fall, it began a new chapter in a long story of connection and growth. Blazers can view the newly restored windows outdoors from the west, south and east sides of the building — and see more photos, new and old, in the UAB Reporter.
Campus is home to more interactive outdoor activities as well: Get your steps in on three walking trails, as shown on a Google Map, which UAB’s 35-plus statues and sculptures. Or discover 11 outdoor oases hiding in plain sight all over campus.
Whatever outdoor activity you choose, be sure to stay #UABUnited by wearing a mask and keeping six feet of distance between you and other Blazers to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Visit uab.edu/reentry to learn more.
