New resources for raising compliance questions, concerns

Written by

rules regulationsUAB is committed to maintaining an open environment in which individuals are able to ask questions and raise good-faith concerns about wrongful conduct without experiencing or fearing retaliation for doing so. This enables the university the opportunity to review issues, correct errors and improve its processes.

To support this culture of trust, integrity and accountability, UAB has established the Duty to Report and Non-retaliation Policy that describes expectations and processes for UAB community members to report ethical issues. It includes a list of university contacts who can address questions about specific laws, regulations or policies affecting UAB activities and help ensure issues are brought to the attention of the appropriate office for review and resolution.
