UAB’s Employee of the Month Rachel Schwartz keep things running smoothly in a stressful area with a calm demeanor and caring attitude.

Michele Kong, M.D., associate professor of Pediatrics Critical Care, is the recipient of the Odessa Woolfolk Community Service Award for her work with KultureCity, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding community accessibility for those with disabilities. 

Hired in May, the band’s new director said the students are ready to help generate excitement and usher in a new era for UAB Football.

The Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management team evaluates and manages behavioral threats to the UAB community. 

Patricia Speck is honored for her efforts to ensure victims receive compassionate care and perpetrators are more likely to be held accountable for crimes.

Sharon Johnson, outside construction supervisor for UAB Facilities, is the Employee of the Month.
