Eugenia Kharlampieva, Ph.D., received a National Science Foundation Career Award to support her research on shape responses of ultra-thin hydrogel microcapsules. The research aims to mimic biological objects in regard to shape, flexibility and reactiveness to make drug delivery more efficient.
