This is a paid research opportunity for adults who provide care for adult loved ones 45 years or older. We are actively recruiting for a research study to examine caregivers’ experiences and health outcomes. To be eligible, caregiver participants need to commit to providing care for their loved ones at least five hours weekly, and their loved ones need to be ages 45 and older. The study takes approximately 45 minutes to complete and can be completed via our online survey or over the phone with one of our trained research assistants. In the late 1970s, two students chatted next to “Untitled” by Michael Frohock, a sculpture made of COR-TEN steel installed in the Mini Park 1976. Find “Untitled” on the West Campus/Alys Stephens Center walking trail, one of three two-mile walking trails that showcase UAB’s statues or sculptures in 30 minutes or fewer.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Department of Nutrition Sciences, is conducting a research study to evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational drug to treat people with Type 2 Diabetes and obesity.
