Rick Morrison, Ph.D.A standing project review panel has been established for protocols involving vaccines. The panel will review the applications for scientific merit and safety and will confirm the trial meets the criteria for exemption from review by the RAC. All vaccine trial protocols must also have IBC review before being submitted to the IRB. These studies require annual continuing review and approval unless the IRB requires more frequent review.
