Service Learning and Undergraduate Research courses are offered in all of UAB’s schools and colleges. Resources are offered and are currently available to all undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.

New Core Curriculum

The Blazer Core Curriculum for undergraduate students is an integral component of the education pillar of Forging the Future, UAB’s strategic plan. Its implementation requires that students take High Impact Practice courses. Courses that are designated Service Learning or Undergraduate Research will meet these requirements.
