On March 23, 2022, we celebrated the hard work of MSHA Class 56 as they finished the didactic portion of their time at UAB with a first-of-its-kind Signing Day event.
The program requires all students to secure and complete an administrative residency/fellowship in order to earn the Master of Science in Health Administration degree. Over the past four years, we have shared our students’ residency placements with signs. This year - we wanted to step up our game to match this momentous occasion and feat. Garrett Morgan, a member of MSHA Class 56 and a former UAB Blazer football player, suggested that we hold a “Signing Day” the way they do for sports. And that is what we did!
100 percent of our students matched with administrative residencies in 14 states. They signed with some of the most prestigious health systems, hospitals and provider networks in the United States.
