UAB's campus offers a wide variety of housing options. With over 2,500 bed spaces in buildings ranging in size from 80 to 350 occupants, we provide single, double, suite-style, and apartment-style rooms for our guests.
Our residence halls feature fully carpeted and air-conditioned rooms, floor lounges, kitchens, and coin-operated laundry facilities, as well as communal, private, and suite-style bathrooms (in which two rooms share a single bathroom). Every room is thoroughly cleaned by professionals before your arrival and includes a bed, dresser, closet, desk, and chair for each occupant. Linens can be provided upon request. Common areas are cleaned and all communal trash is removed six days a week. Additionally, all residence halls and apartments are secured with external locks and all of our central campus facilities are within walking distance of campus meeting space and dining facilities.
