Page Burch is trained in fine woodworking, metal fabrication, and foundry work. Before starting at UAB, he worked at Kennesaw State from 2010 until 2023, serving as a Senior Lecturer of Sculpture and running the Master Craftsman program, which he started in 2017. The student-based program has collaborated with the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History, the City of Kennesaw, the William Root House in Marietta, GA, Southern Graphics Council International, The Commons at Kennesaw State University, Town Center CID, and the Acworth Police Department, among others.
His specialty in iron casting has led him to serve on the Steering Committee for the National Conference on Contemporary Cast Iron Art and Practices (2015 and 2017) as well as Co-Chair (2023) and Chair (2025) the conference. He has taken part in performances, conferences, and workshops in Scotland, England, Germany, and Latvia, as well as all over the eastern United States. He has exhibited at the National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis, TN, Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum in Solsberry, IN, Franconia Sculpture Park in Shafer, MN, and Western North Carolina Sculpture Center in Lenoir, NC.
In his spare time, Page is interested in lowbrow and pop culture, horror movies, and cats.
