Panel Overview
The panel will feature real-world examples and best practices for providing healthcare services to rural populations. Attendees will learn how to create impactful, patient-centered care that extends beyond access to address the broader health needs of all communities.CCTS Engagement of Communities Director, Clifford Kennon, emphasizes the importance of this discussion, “This panel presentation will bring an essential conversation to the forefront on Environmental Health and Environmental Justice, bridging community partners and academic leaders. This will be an opportunity to discuss serving rural communities collaboratively while raising awareness on issues, sharing environmentally helpful resources, and providing education and insight to affect positive change for improving healthcare. Interested community members, academic faculty, students, and organization representatives are all invited to attend and be a part of the engagement.”
