Dr. Yu-Chao Shih is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Selvum Pillay and Dr. Haibin Ning's group, the advanced composites group in the Materials Processing and Applications Development (MPAD) Center. He studies high performance lightweight fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) composites materials with the focus on additive manufacturing methods. His current research focuses on validation of novel electromechanical designs under complex multiphysics interaction using analytical and numerical methods.
