Event Resources

To ensure we meet our goal of utilizing UAB property in support of our mission, the University has established policies and procedures that must be followed by any party desiring to host an event at UAB. To learn more about these policies please visit:

The Event Co-Hosting Agreement is required, among other things, to outline the responsibilities of the parties (including who is financially responsible), to indemnify each other for negligent acts of the other party, to ensure the external organization meets the minimum insurance requirements for co-sponsoring an event on campus, and to establish that the agreement is subject to the laws of the State of Alabama, which is required since UAB is a state-supported entity. Please work with your Division or School fiscal officer to determine when an Event Co-Hosting Agreement is required.
