The Office of International Faculty & Staff Immigration Services (IFSIS) files work authorization petitions on behalf of the employer for international employees needing E-3, H-1B, O-1, and TN immigration status. We also draft and facilitate petitions for employment-based permanent residence, primarily in the EB-1B and EB-2 PERM categories. IFSIS conducts hiring, extension, and promotion conversations directly with supervisors and administrators and will reach out to you later as needed through our database when information and documents are required from you. We support the university directly; our staff are not personal attorneys and do not assist with any immigration matters not directly sponsored by the university as an employer.
