Start-Up Timeline
1. Company Development Plan Working with HIIE, the start-up team prepares a summary per template.
2. Submit External Activities Form Each UAB employee to be involved with the start-up submits an EA form.
3. Entrepreneurial Development Committee The HIIE presents the start-up for review by the committee, which meets the first Thursday of each month.
4. Entrepreneurial Oversight Committee Once approved by the EDC, the start-up moves to review by the EOC, which meets the third Tuesday of each month.
5. License Once EOC approval is granted, the start-up is authorized to move forward with a licensing agreement with the HIIE.
