Executive Director of Expansion
Valeta Neal, is a strategic and operational leader with extensive experience in medical group and healthcare system management.
Valeta has a proven record of creating effective organizational structures and implementing innovative strategies that foster collaboration and quality. Known for building strong relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders, she excels in managing change and overseeing transformative initiatives across a broad geographic footprint in multiple communities and states.
Valeta spent most of her 35 years in healthcare with The Baptist Health System where she held a variety of expanding roles in inpatient and outpatient operations and business development. Following the joint venture between The Baptist Health System and Tenet Healthcare, she served as CEO of Brookwood Baptist Health Primary and Specialty Care Network, comprised of approximately 250 providers in twenty-seven different specialties.
In 2018, Valeta joined Bradford Health Services as Vice President of its outpatient division where she was responsible for strategic planning, operations, financial performance, and quality across a multi-state network of outpatient substance use disorder facilities.
In July 2024, Valeta accepted the role of Executive Director of Expansion for Live HealthSmart Alabama. She is focused on growing and expanding LHSA’s work, started in Birmingham, across the state.
