Aligned with our mission, the Comprehensive Cardiovascular Center is hosting a two-day annual symposium focused on Racial Disparities in Cardiovascular Disease. This event will feature expert presentations on critical topics such as genomics medicine, the genetic basis of cardiometabolic diseases, and the psychological and social factors contributing to cardiovascular disease in African-American women. The symposium also includes a poster session open to all researchers, with cash awards for top presentations. Join us for an opportunity to network, learn, and collaborate, and hear from our distinguished keynote speakers, Paul L. Douglass, M.D., MACC, FSCAI, from Wellstar Health System, and Eduardo Sanchez, M.D., MPH, FAAFP, from the American Heart Association.
