The conference—now in its second year—honors longtime athletic trainer and UAB Director of Sports Medicine Drew Ferguson, who has had a distinguished 40+ year career at UAB and Children’s of Alabama.

This one-day lecture series will feature an exciting keynote address as well as panel discussions, breakout sessions and lectures with UAB Sports and Exercise Medicine physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists and sports performance coaches. These sessions will discuss optimizing performance, avoiding injury, new research in running medicine, nutrition, mental health and more.
