The Department of Neurology at UAB welcomes you to learn more about our program. We train nine adult neurology residents each year who go forth and do well in competitive fellowships, specific areas of research, and general practice neurology.
Our residents are afforded exposure to all spectrums of neurological disease during their training at UAB and are guided through appropriate management of these patients by more than 90 knowledgeable, established, and approachable attending neurologists. This extensive training occurs in a very welcoming environment that encourages discussion, mutual respect, and thoughtful decision making.
