Satoru Osuka, MD., PhD., assistant professor in the UAB Department of Neurosurgery, recently received a grant from The Little Princess Trust for the research project, “Tumor-collagen targeted IL-12 cancer immunotherapy for pediatric high-grade glioma.”
 
The Little Princess Trust, located in the United Kingdom, is an organization that provides free real hair wigs to children and young adults who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions.  
 
The Osuka lab will receive $115,000 (£87.5K) of the total $390,000 (£262.5K) grant that will fund research over the next three years.
