Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Associate Professor and Section Chief of Sports Medicine  Amit Momaya, M.D., will present at the Southern Orthopaedic Association’s (SOA) 2022 Southern at the SEC: Sports Injury Update. His topic is “Cartilage Restoration.”

The meeting will take place May 26-28 in Birmingham, AL, and Momaya will present on Saturday, May 28 from 7:20-7:35 a.m. The meeting is primarily a continuing education opportunity for certified athletic trainers, and the SOA expects a large contingent of SEC trainers to attend the meeting.

Momaya is looking forward to representing the department on this national stage.
