Funding Opportunity Request for Applications

Grant proposals to the General Endowment Fund (GEF) of the UAHSF are now welcome. 

The HSF-GEF grants are intended to enhance the infrastructure of Academic Health Center’s Patient-Oriented and Laboratory Research efforts, Clinical Care Program Development, and Medical Education Initiatives and for university-wide projects by providing funding from the Health Services Foundation’s General Endowment Fund.

There are four types of initiatives:
1) Patient-Oriented Research
2) Laboratory Research
3) Clinical Care
4) Medical Education

Deadline: Completed applications must be received electronically by June 30, 2018.

Applications will be reviewed by one of the four Review Groups, which is selected by the applicant on the cover page of the grant application form. 
After review by the General Endowment Fund Committee, the funding decision will be made by the Board of Directors of the UAHSF. 

Awardees will be notified following the October 22 HSF Board Meeting, and funds will be available for use on November 1, 2018.
