Our faculty take pride in training the next generation of researchers and clinicians, and we are investing in cutting-edge training programs for graduate students, residents, and fellows to prepare them for success as thought leaders in pathology.
Our department earns approximately $30 million per year in extramural research funding, and last year were ranked #10 for National Institutes of Health grant funding out of all pathology departments in the U.S.
We're comprised of seven divisions: Anatomic Pathology, Laboratory Medicine, Molecular & Cellular Pathology, Genomic Diagnostics and Bioinformatics, Neuropathology, Forensics, and Women's Health. We also offer fellowships in Forensic Pathology, Hematopathology, Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine, Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, and Molecular Genetic Pathology.
