Interests

Clinical Interest: 
Attending physician in Pediatric Resident’s Primary Care Clinic, currently ~3 clinics per week, includes presentation of conference at the beginning of each clinic session along with supervision of patient care by 4 – 7 pediatric residents per session.
Attending physician in UAB Hospital Newborn Nursery, 9 – 10 weeks per year, supervision of 2-3 Pediatric interns and 2 – 3 medical students per week with bedside teaching.  Since 2010, I have coordinated and continually updated educational materials for residents and students on the Newborn Nursery rotation. Revised curriculum for 3rd Medical Students on NBN
