Dr. Prabhakaran is a graduate of Madaras Medical College’s School of Medicine.  She completed her pediatric residency and critical care medicine fellowship here at UAB.  Dr. Prabhakaran has interests in the evaluating the role of surfactant protein D in acute lung injuries in children, and studying newer and more advanced monitoring techniques in the setting of traumatic brain injury in children.
