Dr. Richter is a graduate of the University of South Carolina’s School of Medicine.  He completed his pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and his pediatric critical care medicine fellowship here at UAB.  Dr. Richter research focuses  the effect of non-invasive ventilation vs supplemental oxygen therapy on reintubation in high-risk infants following congenital heart surgery.
