Jennifer Guimbellot, M.D., Ph.D., and Gabriela Oates, Ph.D., both assistant professors in the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, contributed chapters to the new book, “Cystic Fibrosis: A Multi-Organ System Approach,” part of Springer Nature’s Respiratory Medicine series. 

 Dr. Guimbellot is the first author of the chapter, "Targeting the underlying defect in CFTR with small molecule compounds.” Dr. Oates is the first author of the chapter, “Health Disparities.” The book was written by experts in the field of cystic fibrosis and provide an overview of cystic fibrosis in both pediatric and adult patients.
