Adrianne Marbury, MPA, program manager in the Division of Adolescent Medicine, has been selected to serve on the Core Leadership Team for the Birmingham Women’s Initiative.
The Birmingham Women’s Initiative Core Leadership Team will work to create spaces and programs that address the social determinants of health that have a crucial role in a woman’s complete physical, mental, and social well-being through advocacy, research, policy/advisory, and community engagement.
“As a member of the Core’s Community Engagement Team I will work to establish internal and external city partnerships to increase opportunities and improve outcomes for women and girls throughout Birmingham,” said Marbury. “I am humbled to serve as an agent of change and sounding board for City of Birmingham initiatives that support women and girls in our community.”
She joins 33 women from diverse backgrounds to establish a City of Birmingham women’s agenda through this team.
Congratulations Adrianne!
