Interview Format and Details
All residency interviews will be conducted virtually for the 2024-2025 recruitment season, as based on guidance from the Association of American Medical Colleges.
Our interview day begins at 8:00am Central Time. All applicants will participate in informational presentations and meetings with program leadership from 8:00-10:00am. Applicants are then split into two even groups with individual interviews scheduled either 10:00am-12:00pm or 1:00-3:00pm, with a 15-minute wrap-up at the end of each individual interview block. Applicants will be assigned to morning or afternoon interview groups one week prior to the interview date.
Chief Residents host a virtual social hour on the evening prior to the interview. Attendance at this event is not required to be considered for a position, but we hope that applicants are able to attend, as this is a fun opportunity to get to know our residents in a casual setting.
Program Signaling
Our program has opted into program signaling for the 2025 ERAS®️ season. However, program signaling and/or selection of geographic preferences are not required to be selected for an interview.
