The multidisciplinary nature of the proposed training is fostered by the diversity of the thirty-six faculty mentors who hold primary appointments in nine UAB Departments.
The program faculty mentors are grouped into three thematic areas based on scientific expertise: immunology-biology, cell biology-tissue repair, and translational sciences.
