Managing personal health is essential to daily living, especially for people with spinal cord injury (SCI) and people with spinal cord disease or dysfunction (D).  Not only are they at risk for all of the same medical conditions that everyone faces, but they are also at higher risk for many of those medical conditions. In addition, they are at risk for many secondary medical conditions of SCI/D. This section offers links to educational information to prevent or manage these many issues.
